Water damage to part of ceiling

The best shower in the world was worth the fee alone for the shower. My room looked across the promenade and although I'm out till 19:00 at work it was a nice view. Brilliant with resupply of tea and coffee and milk other places please take note, we Brits have more than 1 cup of tea so extra milk and sugar are great.

Bathroom bit cramped as I'm 6'3" and 20 stone but I managed and obviously space is premium but otherwise everything else was spot on.

Clean and tidy nicely decorated, mattres was a bit soft but managed to sleep ok. Good location near all amenities

The room was bit cold early mornings and in the night, and the radiators weren't on

From the outside i wondered if i had made a mistake, but once i was inside - wow! What a lovely surprise that place is. Such a nice room, warm, comfortable, great bathroom, natural light, soap, kettle, tea & coffee. I was very happy staying there. And what a great location! Perfect for exploring the beautiful lake area and all that Southport has to offer.

I think i would have liked a hairdryer in the room, but not a deal-breaker. I felt safe and comfortable. I think a coat of paint on the front of the building and fence could make such a difference to the first impressions.
