Great family run hotel. Meet the owner when I stepped out my car doing some gardening and he offered to help with my bags. Great bar and food

I had an amazing experience at this hotel during my recent trip. It’s located in Workington, just a short drive from the Lake District, making it a great base for exploring the area. The location was convenient yet peaceful, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to hiking trails and charming villages. The room was spotless, cozy, and offered lovely views. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, always ready with great recommendations and a friendly smile. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh and high-quality options. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy everything the Lake District has to offer.
