The use of a microwave 24/7 and the coffee machine. Location was quite good.

Absolutely filthy!!! Smelt dirty and of cigarettes. No mattress or pillow protectors. Stains and burn holes in the bedding. Carpet so sticky I had to wear shoes the whole time. Radiator on maximum all night and burt my finger, couldn't turn it down so had to have the windows open causing very broken sleep due the noise from neighbours, the road, and the wind and rain, as well as the bright green fire exit light right by the bed. The breakfast could not have been any cheaper. Very shocked to see that the PAT testing was overdue by 5 months! The shelf in the bathroom fell off, and although I found it very easy to slide back on over the screws, the owners want to charge me! My room had the feel of a DWP emergency accommodation or a room you can rent by the hour. I have more photos but can only upload 4.

Not much

The shower filled up with first use because the plug was blocked and then it overflowed onto the bathroom floor meaning I had to walk through a puddle of cold water to use the toilet. The toilet also blocked with the first use and I was scared to flush it again incase that overflowed as well. After I left, they tried to charge me £250 for repair of the toilet/shower and a deep cleaning fee for the water on the bathroom floor and are still disputing this with false accusations. I also found a drunk man asleep on the floor in the outer unlocked porch when I returned to my room at 9.30pm and when we phoned the hotel to try and get his apparent room code (for a room that didn't exist) the hotel staff hung up immediately. Since I reported this to them (after they tried to charge me £250), they have lied and denied the phone call happened at all. There were hairs all over the room, a loud, intermittent whirring woke me up all night and I could hear the neighbours as if they were next to me. I would definitely avoid this hotel in future.
