Residence & Conference Centre - Ottawa Downtown

To begin, this is not a Marriot Residence. It is a student residence during the school year. I mean, sure, it had two bedrooms (but they were only doubles). The sheets could have been more comfortable. Just know there is no TV, no iron, no dishes or utensils, To be labeled a Residency, the value seemed to be lacking. I would suggest bring your own towels, as the ones provided were more like burlap. Friendly front desk personnel!

It was a great location and very easy to check in and out.

The AC was set to a high temperature without being able to turn it down. It was extremely humid. As well, it was not clean. There was layers of dust everywhere, the walls were filthy, and there was tons of hair everywhere in the bathroom and on the carpet. We tried taking a shower, yet it didn’t work. We notified reception of the issue, however no compensation was made for this.

I had to changed my room because of the leaking of the toilet water tank. Otherwise not too bad

Perfect two bedrooms for the price of a budget hotel.

I would recommend bringing your own shampoo 😅
