The Bickford Arms Inn

I had to leave too early for breakfast but they made me up a bag of goodies every day that was really appreciated.

Menu wasn't clear from the bar. But perhaps I was a bit daft and just couldn't see it.

hot day-arrived late afternoon and sat outside in sun. Quite a busy road with cars roaring by. Most of the locals drink lager or cider I was told -maybe that would change with a better bitter available! large dining room with one with a big stove-must be lovely in winter .Bedroom up stairs past a strange collection of artifacts, guitars, large car park with lots of EV charging -handy if you need it! various animals to see maybe pet for the children.

well the beer not to my taste but plenty of choice. Nice country oub atmopshere.

Room was spacious and comfy, the fan provided was a blessing due to the warm weather we had, dog friendly and made very welcome, food was tasty also.

Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and polite.

Disappointing room - small. No shelf space to put anything in either the bedroom or bathroom.

Very few vegetarian options on menu. Ice cream menu was not what they had in stock. Had hoped to be able to go for a walk directly from pub but would have had to use road Lots of formal dining tables but not much comfy seating for residents.( There were sofas but too low for oldies)

Good breakfast and very nice staff

Road immediately outside is quite noisy and fast

Overall comfort of stay.
