Food was excellent, but huge portions

Staff fantastic. Food really good.

I had room 19 and the shower and sink taps constantly dripped. No bed side table. The worst was the temperature of the room. It was freezing. 1 radiator in bathroom did not work. And the one in the bed room was on off but never warmed the room.

The staff were very welcoming and polite. They went above and beyond to attempt to correct anything that was a miss. The breakfast was nice.

The room I was given was directly above the function room, which as I was the only 'resident' for most of the stay, seemed a bit thoughtless as come the weekend, I was unable to sleep. The bathroom had black mould over the walls and ceiling and the radiators were rusty, which left dirty water marks across the floor.

Beautiful hotel! I stayed in the single room which was spacious and comfortable, even if it was a bit plain. The breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend staying here.

There happened to be a Christmas party the same night I was staying there, it was a little loud and I forgot to bring earplugs. Best to check the website for any planned events.

Loved our stay here, more of a traditional old style hotel very clean and all staff were very cheerful and helpful.
