The Highworth Hotel

Large room with lovely spacious en-suite. Centrally located and loved the hotel outside courtyard. The breakfast was delicious and we also highly rate the hotel restaurant.

Dodgy entrance to hotel and carpark, very narrow alley for access.

It was beautifully decorated in keeping with the era of the building .. Breakfast was delicious and the staff very accommodating and friendly. I couldn’t enter their car park though as it was too narrow for my 4x4 so had a little scrape!

No air-con as the rooms were part of the original old building.. but fans provided.

Historic and authentic place

The room was above the bar. After 12 h travelling we could not take a good rest but were forced to listen to live music and drunk people. Poor breakfast options; no fruit, joghurt, vegetables, poridge, etc. Offered not very tasty English breakfast options or cereal. Coffee weak and not tasty. Far too expensive for the service provided. Felt quite disappointed this time.

Very nice hotel, good service and great food.
