The Wilson Arms

We only stayed overnight as we were visiting the replica Spanish galleon while she was in Whitby, but we had a great time. The food was good, the staff friendly, the bed was comfortable and the room very clean. All good value for money.

The accommodation was clean and modern. beds were comfortable, staff were friendly and accommodating. Good location ,great views. Food okay.

Excellent rooms and fantastic breakfast.

Stayed in the small cottage. There was 5 of us for 1 night and it was adequate. It was clean and had all the basics. Small bedroom has a sloping ceiling and is not suitable for adults. It wasn’t suitable for 6 people for catering. No where to sit and eat. Sofa bed was comfortable enough.

This was a clean and cheap option for my stay. I found the room to be clean and modern. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was nice. I'd say the shower was a little on the small side, but ultimately excellent value for what I paid. I would stay again. I needed an early check in, but didn't let them know. The staff were accommodating of me and friendly.

The property was very nice and well kept, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the Wilson for a couple of nights when working in nearby Whitby, a ten minute drive away. Sneaton is a quiet hamlet near to Ruswarp and is very quiet so great for a peaceful night of sleep. The bed at the Wilson was comfortable with clean crisp bedding. The room was on the small side as it was the attic of the Wilson BUT I was there to sleep after long work days. The room was well set out with a window looking out to the coast, two chairs were placed near the window so I enjoyed my cup of tea on waking. The car park was large enough to afford plenty of spaces to choose from. The downstairs bar and restaurant looked to be very nice, however, I missed out on both as I was an early start and late finish so also missed out on breakfast
