At the point of check-in guests can leave their luggage anytime in the provided luggage storage area in the property, but cannot enter the room until after the stated check-in time which is 14:00. Check out time is 10:30. On check-out, the key must be left in the check-out key box in the lobby. Guests will be subject to charges if the key is not posted on check-out. You will also be subject to charges if there is any unreported damage to the property. Please note the hotel is in a Georgian building and there is no elevator, please advise in your booking if you require a room with no stairs, which is subject to availability. Car parking is limited and cannot be guaranteed. Car parking is available on a 'first come, first serve' basis. If spaces are not available outside the front door of the property, there is free 24/7 on street parking on Peel Terrace.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Clean and comfortable Edinburgh value option"

I booked this last minute as a reasonable option in Edinburgh. The hotel is self check-in only and you do not really ever see any staff. It works, but always feels a bit strange. The room was basic, but clean. My bathroom was not attached. It was an OK arrangement.

The owners must either really like combination locks or got a good discount as there are combo lock boxes and other setups all over the place. The setup to the bathroom could allow for someone to be locked in - not sure how this passes fire safety codes. Otherwise, distance from central Edinburgh is a bit of a ways - busses are frequent or one can walk.

"Solo trip"

Location was perfect not too far from city centre, location was also quiet and easy to access. Room was a nice size, bed comfortable and room was clean.

Bathroom needed a bit of an update and fixing, I didn't understand how to use shower, had to use shower in another room.

The prices and how close it was to the bus stop which was great for going to the city center , also the luggage storage like that and it was useful for me

The self check in and our sometimes feel like you are figuring thing out yourself without helps and also the check out time of 10:30 feel so early
