The owner was extremely helpful. The neighborhood is safe, and the owner took me around the local neighborhood. She also picked me up from and to the airport at a fair price. Overall, I am very satisfied and hope to stay here again when I come to SPS next time.

Blanca is a gracious host and served a wonderful breakfast for both of our stays here. She also helped provide transportation to and from the airport. Her son Luis is also very friendly!

Let'a make this clear, you don't want to spend a lot of time in SAN Pedro Sula since it's not such an interesting city and it has safety issues. If you do end up here, Blanca, the owner of Dos Molinos will make your stay as easy as possible (book a safe taxi from airport for 15 USD, get up at 4:00 am to put you safely in a 100 Lempiras taxi to the bus terminal so you can catch the first bus out to La Ceiba to board the ferry at 9:30) This was GREATLY appreciated. The room was a bit darkish and musty but clean sheets and comfortable bed. AC, TV, Wifi and hot water all worked fine (not that you would need hot water in that heat !) For the price it makes a very nice and practical overnite stop . It's also possible for Blanca or her cousin to cook up homemade food for you.

The owner of this establishment is amazing. San Pedro Sula gets a bad rap for a dangerous city but she made us feel completely safe. She had someone pick us up at the airport late at night. She brought us back to our room which was clean and comfortable. The room had A.C. if you liked. She made us breakfast the next day and gave us a Spanish lesson. We liked her so much we stayed with her when we passed back through San Pedro Sula. We even recommended to a traveler on the way back who got a room with her and was equally pleased with her services. Finding someone like Blanca truly makes you feel at home when you are so far away from home.
