Gostinii Dvor

The hotel is located in a central place and ideal base for exploring the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist Alexandra who helped with us contact our airline after they cancelled flight home.

Recently refurbished, with corny "old-fashioned" style of furniture, mattress not comfortable at all. Good breakfast at Shato Restaurant in the same building. Shato also provided room services, but is was fairly expensive food, and last services was at 23:00. Friendly staff with good English skills. Good but expensive laundry services. Central location. Out of 50+ TV channels, not even a single channels was in English. The table in the room was too small to be used as a work desk.

The hotel is over-priced for Kharkiv. Given the disparity of ages of many of the other couples it might be for an open-door mentality. The restuarant associated with the hotel is fabulous. That is where your breakfast is provided (4 courses). My room was over the entrance to the hotel and noise and smoke poured in if I opened the window, which I like to do. The room was small, extremely clean and the staff was warm and eager to help at every turn. I booked a suite but could touch both walls at the same time in the sitting area and it was tight walking around the bed. Having seen in the other rooms when the cleaning staff was busy, I don't think there is much range in the rooms from regular to junior and full suite. I had to book the suite as it was the only room available. The internet is good and stable. The bed was very comfortable.

Stiligt och vänligt hotell - som ligger mycket central ! Stora fräscha rum med bekväm säng. Frukost i fransk restaurant Chato- som en del av hotell och bra pris.

Уютные комнаты с кондиционером, телевизором, мини баром и сейфом. Гостиница находиться в самом центре города, рукой подать до метро и ряда достопримечательностей. Очень приветливый персонал. В суточную цену включены отличные, разнообразные завтраки, которые можно отведать в прилегающем ресторане "Шато" на веранде с видом на город. Останавливался тут уже 2 раза и впредь планируюю.

I had a great stay at the Gostiny Dvor! All the staff gave every effort to make my stay very comfortable and the restaurant was excellent! I have stayed here twice before and I will definitely be looking to return on my next trip to Kharkov!

Nice hotel in the Centre of the city, closed to ballet, shopping street, cafes, restaurant, walking distance to subway station. Delicious breakfast and polite staff. We will definitely recommend this hotel.
