Hotel Equator

위치가 괜찮아요, 고층 객실이라 그런지 겨울이다보니 조금 춥고 바람소리가 매우 심했어요. 그러나 깨끗하고 편안해서 가성비가 나쁘지 않은 호텔입니다.

From check in until check out, everything was just okay. Except that they forgot to pick me at the airport. They asked my flight through email, and I already sent them all the information. But when I arrived at Vladivostok airport, no one was waiting for me. And when I called them, they said they didn't have any request from me. what a shame! and they didn't feel sorry at all..

I booked airport pickup through hotel.com message and I could see that they already read it. But when I arrived at the airport around 3AM, no one from the hotel showed up. And when I called the hotel, a woman answered it and said that they didn't have any reservation for my airport pick up. It's very disappointed. I had to go to the hotel by myself. From checking until checkout, everything's good. But still, when I asked receptionist why they didn't pick me up at the airport, they couldn't give me any answer.

Equator hotel is not the best hotel I have stayed, but the experience here was awesome! First of all, the staff were so friendly and smiley, and they do their job great! My room was on the 9th floor and the view from the balcony was just amazing! The room is not so big, but clean and cosy. Bed is so comfortable and they give you a pillow menu to choose the best fit for your sleep. There was no air con in my room ( not sure it is a thing in Vladivostok as it is very cool even in summer ) but there was a fan which I prefer rather than a/c. The water power in the bathroom is good and hot shower makes you relaxed after all day walk. Haven’t tried yet but there is also bath tube. The biggest surprise for me was a birthday cake that I found in my room after a long day. As a solo traveler, this meant a lot to me and I’m so grateful to this hotel staff making me happy when I’m alone far away from my home. And the only issue here was the balcony. There is a great view and balcony, but there is no chair or table. The chair in the room is quite huge so I couldn’t take it out to the balcony as the door was small. I think they should put a chair and table in the balcony as the view is great! Thanks again for the birthday cake! I wish the room was available for my last two days in Vladivostok and I didn’t need to go another hotel!

객실 문 잠금장치가 열쇠로 열리는 것 한가지 뿐이고 별도의 고리가 없어서 조금 불안했습니다만 전반적으로 만족했습니다. 해양공원쪽 큰길에서 IMAX 영화관 뒤쪽에 있는 동상으로 올라가면 쉽게 올라갈 수 있습니다. 다만 큰 짐이 있을 때는 한블럭 안쪽의 높은 경사로로 걸어가거나 택시 이용 필수. 아르바트 거리, 수프라 식당, 스베틀란스카야 거리 모두 걸어서 10분 내에 이동할 수 있습니다. 공항 이동시 프론트에 택시예약 부탁하면 1100 루블에 막심택시 이용 가능합니다.

Reasonable value and good location. Room was renovated and had a mini-fridge, though no airconditioning, which isn't really not an issue in Vladivostok. When checking out, they asked houkeeping to check on the condition of the room, which was unusual. Plenty of reasonable places for breakfast, so I would skip the hotel breakfast, which was a little on the expensive side (though I don't know what it was like).

Very bad first impression on arrival late at night as hotel was under renovation and the lobby is unrenovated and spartan. The receptionist wanted payment for all nights immediately, before we had even seen the room, but agreed to one night only. We had a spacious 8th floor room with excellent sea view, and enjoyed our stay. Very well located hotel.

Gave us room not as pictured!! They gave us a really bad room and so we asked for a different room but charged us too much!!! The desk clerk that day were very mean and not friendly. They also spoke very little English . Thanks to there manager we finally got a decent room! The room temperature was very chilly and asked to turn on the heater but instead got a radiator, which was not ideal!! They had some sort of Ac/heater system but they didn’t use it!! We were three people but they kept giving us two people things like towels and other stuff which was not great cause we had to ask for the stuff multiple times!

Old is fine with me as long as it’s clean and kept up. Our room smell like urine and floor was peeling and buckled up in different places. The staff was good.

Staff was excellent. Room temperature they tend to keep high.
