Prekas Apartments

we have returned from a fantastic stay at prekas apartments (7ngts). As a couple that wanted a fantastic location on a tight budget, we stayed in the small room, but didn't have any issues with the size and bed (small double) was fine for a couple. We spent most of our time on the large balcony. This hotel is in a fantastic location and sunset views are the best in Santorini. Would recommend hiring a car or scooter to explore the island and definitely get prekas to arrange your transfers as we waited 2hrs at the port for a taxi which was highly unpleasant!

Absolutely loved our honeymoon stay at Prekas. We had the room directly over the pool and it felt like it was our own private pool for most of our stay. Excellent service by the staff and everything we needed in our room for a great stay.

So I have a few mixed feeling about this stay. Overall it was fine, I just think you really have to be prepared for the basic accommodations of a 3 star, if you are generally used to booking higher start accommodations. Everything is basic at this stay, but you do have everything you need in terms of a bed and a bathroom (No toiletries, so be prepared to bring your own). Its a hard judge this accommodation as a whole, as the location was great. The town of Imerovigli is quiet and the view is phenomenal. We rented a quad and explored the whole island without any issues. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, but our interactions were limited as this is more of an apartment than a hotel. We did have issues with the toilet leaking from the bottom, so the first day was bad. However, as soon as we informed then, they fixed the issue the same day. Furniture is basic and outdated, but again, for the price and location it was okay. This stay is fine and you should chose this hotel if you are on a budget and the view is more important than having any luxuries. Note, that our balcony was shared with the room next to us (not private but acceptable as this is the case with most of the places). We did have quite a few insects in the room, but I think this is because we had the window open most of the day and it just comes with the territory.

Great place to stay on Satorini, off touristy area, 10 min to Fira or Oie by bus, walking distance to Fira - 25min. Each room has a balcony with incredible view on Caldera, kitchenette could be a little more updated, but overall we spent 4 unforgettable days!

Great! The hotel room was spacious and we have our own kitchen. The sunset was good!
