Mimosa Resort & Spa

We had a fantastic stay at Mimosa. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located on a tranquil beach. The staff were exceptional and looked after us from the moment we arrived. It was a pleasure getting to know everyone, and a special thank you to Lin for sharing so much about the island and making our stay even more memorable. Our room was spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly cleaned every day. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing break, and would highly recommend Mimosa to anyone looking for a peaceful island getaway.

המיקום של המלון הזה היה טוב, היה לו חוף טוב ומטופח עם מסעדה טובה, ובריכה טובה ככה שענה לנו על כל הצרכים, אבל אם רוצים לטייל מחוץ לאזור אז מומלץ להשכיר קטנוע, החדר היה גדול ומקלחת חיצונית שזה די מגניב, המלון מאוד יפה ונקי והצוות היה מאוד אדיב וזמין.

הקליטה בחדר שלנו לא הייתה כזאת טובה, עוד משהו שקצת הפריע לנו היה השליטה בטמפרטורה של המקלחת כל הזמן היינו צריכים לשחק איתו כי פעם הוא ממש חם או ממש קר.

The location is beautiful, with direct access to the sea and a very peaceful atmosphere. Being about 20–30 minutes away from the busier parts of Koh Samui makes it a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The pool and beachfront area are particularly enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily, and complimentary water is provided every day, which is appreciated. The staff is very kind, welcoming, and always willing to help, which contributes positively to the overall experience.

Although the staff is very kind and clearly well-intentioned, communication can be difficult because English is not well mastered, which makes it challenging to resolve issues or fully understand each other. The breakfast is good but becomes repetitive during longer stays, as the selection does not vary much from day to day. Vegetarian and meat dishes are placed together, which may not appeal to strict vegetarians. The gym is very basic and not well maintained. Overall, the property has great potential, but the facilities feel somewhat dated. The shower had very weak water pressure, and since it is located outdoors, mosquitoes can sometimes be an issue. The laundry service is also quite expensive compared to options available just 100 meters away from the property. Finally, the hotel restaurant was the lowest-rated dining option in the area in our experience. We would strongly recommend nearby alternatives, which offer much better quality and value for money.
