Perfecte centrale ligging, midden in de stad, dichtbij de hoofdstraat, op een steenworp van meerdere bezienswaardigheden en restaurants. Ruime kamer, ruime badkamer.

De parking was niet beschikbaar waardoor wij bovenop de prijs een betalende parking dienden te voldoen. Er was slechts 1 stroompunt in de kamer, (waar eveneens via een verdeelblok de koelkast stroom kreeg), niet erg handig voor het laden van diverse telefoons. 1 zwak lichtpunt voor de hele kamer, kon tevens niet van aan het bed bediend worden. De airco had een eigen bedieningspaneel doch bleef op elke stand (zelfs UIT) warme lucht blazen en was tevens behoorlijk luid. Het ontbijt viel tegen in de beperkte keuze maar nog meer door het uitblijven van aanvullen. Mensen zaten echt te wachten tot er aangevuld werd om weer een boterhammetje te kunnen halen. Koffie was lekker, vruchtensap uit machine was zeer waterig)

I didn't like anything!

The hotel is 20 years old and obviously never renovated. On arrival, the lobby looked dark, unwelcoming and very post communistic. We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor. To reach the floor we took a tiny lift, which could barely fit 2 guests and 1 suitcase. Extremely slow journey! Once the lift doors open we were hit by a strong ciggarette smell that nearly made my head spin. I am a smoker myself and travelled a lot, but never experienced such bad ciggarette smell in hotel! The room was spacious, however the facilities were so outdated, that even one of the wardrobe handles got rusty woth time. One of the wall sockets was out of the wall on contrast to any health and safety rules. The bed, oh the bed! Very low bed, similar to Japanese style with a rock hard spring matteress. I can not describe the terrible back, lower back and shoulder pain I still suffer. I could not even sleep properly in that bed. The shower cubicle had the mixer tap moving from the tiled wall. Every time I was turning the water on, I was wondering if the mixer will fall on the floor. The hook that is used to hold the shower head was also rusty, crying for replacement. On the day of check out, there was no running water at all. About the so called Spa facilities: on arrival we were informed that they stopped heating the swimming pool since Easter and to use the Sauna or the Steam room we had to pay 15 Euro for each, and reception had to be informed in advance, so they turn them on to heat up. What a joke! Especially, that nowhere in the booking listing the additional charge was not mentioned! Every night, there was no night receptionist, rather a security guard, who kept the whole lobby in darkess, obviously saving on energy... I don't want to comment on the breakfast choices, as we did not have breakfast in the hotel. What was served on the buffet simply did not look appetising at all! Overall, terrible experience with the hotel stay and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!
