Days gone by style. Hallways. Centre of town. Carpet. Bed unreal. Taps in shower a bit out there. Easy entry to hotel and room after hours. Bloody close to everything wish I could afford another night. But will come back end of year. A great place to stay .

The soundproofing is effective, ensuring a peaceful environment even when the hotel is busy. Bed The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with high-quality linens and a supportive mattress. After a long day of sightseeing or work, it was a pleasure to return to such a restful sleep environment. Pillows were plentiful and plush, enhancing overall comfort. I consistently woke up feeling refreshed and well-rested, which made a big difference during my stay. Overall, the Royal Albert Hotel exceeded my expectations in every regard, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Central location. Clean and tidy.

Rooms are dated. No views and small windows. No additional blankets, pillows.

As usual as a regular... the space and comfort and location is fab. Bed comfy. Staff great.

Rooms very dated..desperately in need of refurbishment. Carpets soiled, ceiling peeling, loo roll holder broken. Toiletries deficient...no shower cap, no soap! Come on Albert! Get it sorted!

Location 1930s feel was beautiful Had a few issues Daughter had an accident but Ella was a great help and understanding. Big thanks to her Parking at Uptown is far cheaper direct do not purchase through the hotel.

Mouldy leaking aircons which did not work the first night so we were super hot No working light in bedroom Taps were falling off constantly Cleanliness was questionable beds were clean and comfortable Staff could not answer basic questions Constant banging on the walls through out the night

Location

The location was excellent, and the room was the perfect size with a great layout. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. I really appreciated having the convenience of hotel amenities combined with laundry facilities and a kitchenette in the room. The dark curtains made it easy to sleep, and the room was very quiet throughout my stay.

A few things could be improved. The TV was quite small and difficult to hear, and the remote was very finicky to use. The glass shower door could be a little longer as water tends to run out onto the floor. There was also a very limited selection of teas and coffees provided. The small freezer section was iced up on arrival and I had to clean it so the fridge door would shut.
