Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Commerce

Very nice extended stay as we escaped a hurricane. Everyone helpful. Room nice and spacious.

The check in was smooth and Stacey was amazing! However, the room was quite the opposite. It had a strong damp oder and felt humid/sticky. As far as cleanliness, we found a sticky popsicle stick between the bed and bedside table. The carpet felt as though it had not been shampooed is years, so we made sure to keep our socks on. The bathroom was not much better. Aside from the beds being mad, the room felt dirty. Would not recommend.

Rooms were a little dated

The hotels staff was amazing. The only issue was the hot tub was the reason I booked the hotel. The filter was broke and on back order, which didn’t allow me to really enjoy the hot tub because there was a lot of sand looking dirt. The breakfast Was great. The only thing I had to do was clean the orange juice, apple juice machine because it were hanging around so Once I cleaned it the nets went away. The bananas were also attraction fruit flies. The front desk was amazing!

There were children in the room above that ran around way past 10pm! Maybe kids should be on the first floor! Or, not directly above other rooms That want to sleep.

Housekeeping needs to do a better job! We found a small bug between the sheets on one bed! It was late and my daughter opted to just sleep between the comforter and not pull back the top sheet.
