Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali - All Inclusive

We had an amazing stay at the Grand Mirage. The staff were exceptional. So helpful, happy and friendly. Our kids loved the slide and the kids area. The food was incredible, honestly don’t have a bad word to say. Siti and all the girls at the spa were also amazing. 10/10 experience from start to end. Nusa Dua is a beautiful part of Bali and we can’t wait to go back!!

Everything, we did switch from the family resort to the main resort after one night which we found to be more relaxing

Everything was great and the staff all very accomodating and lovely.

Family suite was very spacious. Lots of activities for adults snd kids.- daily yoga, kayaking. Lots of sunbeds at beach and pool. Breakfast good. Adults pool was relaxing. Kids pool had a great vibe and a good slide. Lazy rizer was so much fun, we spent lots of time there everyday.

No internal paths to get from family section to main section, that I could see. But it was a simple walk along the road or a longer walk along the beach.

Staff really friendly. Lots of breakfast options. Decent gym enough equipment to get a workout in. Really liked the lazy river at the accom, keeps you occupied for a while. Out the front is the main street with some restaurants, massage places and convenience store.

The pool side food (at the family pool) was terrible and over priced. It’s convenient to order so you don’t have to leave the pool. We gave it a second attempt and worse food we’ve had. Really a shame given the breakfast was so nice. Not sure if it’s different kitchen / if each pool has different kitchens but that was the only downfall. Everything else fine.

Our experience at Grand Mirage Thalasso was extremely disappointing and is not what we expected from a resort that promotes itself as a premium family destination. Shortly after arriving, a serious incident occurred which, in our view, was caused and escalated by inadequate staff training and a failure to properly manage the situation. The issue could and should have been prevented. Instead, we were left to deal with the consequences while receiving little meaningful support from hotel staff. We raised our concerns immediately and spoke with multiple staff members. Despite the seriousness of the situation, our concerns were largely dismissed and no effective action was taken. It was only when we made the decision to check out on the same day we checked in that the hotel finally took the matter seriously. The General Manager took the time to listen to our account and hear our concerns, which was appreciated. However, this occurred only after we had already decided to leave the property and our holiday plans had been significantly disrupted. Even after management became involved, basic customer service remained lacking. Staff were unwilling or unable to assist with moving our luggage, and when we needed transport to our next accommodation, we were quoted 300,000 IDR for a taxi. We ultimately arranged our own transport instead for half this price. Perhaps most disappointing of all is that despite failing to prevent the incident, failing to adequately respond to it, and despite us checking out on the same day without using the room, the hotel is now refusing to provide a full refund. It is difficult to understand how guests can be expected to bear the financial cost of a situation that was caused and mishandled by the hotel’s own staff. The entire experience demonstrated significant shortcomings in staff training, guest safety procedures, customer service, and complaint resolution. We do not recommend Grand Mirage Thalasso as good place to stay.

Waterpark options and kids play areas are nice for the kids, it kept them occupied

Food quality was low, there was no taste or passion in their dishes even though they charge like a 5 star hotel. We didn't enjoy any meal from the start. We had lunch on the two days we stayed there and both was as expansive as any other 5 star hotel but with very low quality. We had to return the chicken tender plate for example because it was rock hard we couldn't eat. The quality of the hotel was run down and a bit old, we felt that it lacked character or a sense of identity. I was surprised how much the buffet was below standard. We ate outside on both days for breakfast. The cost of this hotel was similar to any other we stayed at through our 10 day trip, but this one ranked the lowest in terms of comfort and quality.
