CAUSUSThe front desk Haddish was extremely accommodating. We were in town for a family reunion camping trip and found out the night of arrival there weren’t any showers. I booked the room at 2am Saturday morning requesting an early check in. The next morning I stopped by the property on a prayer that they would allow us to check in early that morning so we could shower vs that evening as we had a family event. Haddish pulled through and was able to get us a room. Not just any room the exact suite I booked. Though we stayed at the campsite it was nice having a place with ac to go back to. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned and stocked.
Always have a good stay with them
The desk clerk when we checked in was very nice and thorough in her description of amenities. The room was clean, but with design flaws. There were no towel bars at all in the bath. This is inexcusable. We had stayed in this same Griffin hotel once in the past. They must have redecorated and inexplicably removed all the places to hang a towel. The lamps in the room do not provide nearly enough light. Maybe a higher wattage in the existing lamps would help. The free breakfast was sub par. Not horrible, but definitely not good. The scrambled eggs were over cooked. That could happen anywhere, but there was also no whole wheat bread for toast and the muffins were skimpy. We arrived at 8:00, so the muffins should have been well stocked at that time. All staff members were friendly and helpful. This so so review is due to cost cutting in design and management. We wouldn't stay here again unless there were no other option.
