Golden Mar Menuda

Another terrific holiday at The Golden Mar Menuda. -Some changes since last year and in our opinion not all for the better but none of them are enough to detract from the overall excellence of the hotel. We very much enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of our sea view room with terrace and sunbeds. Staff we encountered all doing a great job especially Reception and Housekeeping. Hope to be back in 2027.

In my view this is the only hotel to stay in Tossa. My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights and couldn't rate it enough. it is extremely clean and staff were so courteous and polite special mention to Jessica in reception so helpful and always smiling! and all the young girls in the bar and restaurant. breakfast was amazing lots of great choices and sitting out looking at most gorgeous view. A stunning hotel so peaceful and relaxing will definitely be back.

First impression was great, welcomed by friendly and helpful receptionist. Excellent location if you want a bit of distance from the busier heart of Tossa, but want to be near a beach (frequented by the local diving school). Our room (at the rear) wasn't huge, but plenty big enough for the two of us. It overlooked a diving school which was quiet pretty much all week (but this was mid-May so might change high season). Bathroom was fully equipped. Everything seemed spotless, and cleaning was meticulously completed daily by a lovely lady (I think her name was Loli). A walk of about ten minutes will get you to the central hub of restaurants etc, although you pass several decent eateries on the way. The breakfast was generally excellent with the usual choice of cooked meats, cheese etc, with omelette, eggs and bacon available on request. Staff were really efficient. Plenty of sun beds near the pool (but again, it was mid-May so this might not always be the case). The bar is a perfect spot to end the evening, with reasonably priced cocktails etc, and a view of the castle. I'd be surprised if we didn't return in the next few years. Thanks for a great holiday.
