Charlies Place Hotel & Spa

The hotel it is fine the prices it is very good. Location it is ok for the north side of the city , people so nices. The bad think it is the bathroon it is for 3 rooms.

Location is far away from everything, in the middle of nowhere. Misleading advertisement: I booked a room, when I arrive I am informed that my room doesn't have a private bathroom, instead shares one with other rooms, and tried to offer me an upgrade by an extra cost, of course. Only good thing about it was the employees service, but definitively I do not recommend it. BTW... nothing interesting to see in Bogota. Skip it or spend at most one night.

The hotel staff are all excellent and friendly. They made all the difference in being a high quality experience from just another hotel. They great you right away, remember your name, think of service and are just smart and friendly. I was staying in this area to be near my family so the choice for me was fine. If I wanted to be in Candelaria, the old section, its a long taxi ride (they are not that expensive) but with Bogota traffice its terrible during morning and evening rush hour. The bed was great, the room was fine and for repeat clients, they go the extra mile. Enjoy your stay.

i liked the super friendly staff. here to help you with everythign. breakst was very personal and good. the rooms were ok, but really noisy! i didnt sleep well. besides the noise everything ok. one thing i didnt like was that i had to pay more money as the bathrooms were susposted to be shared. and when booking, the hotel, this was not written nowhere. so i had to pay about 25 dollars more per night. overall, i had a good stay with that friendly and helpful staff . but i would appreciate to know all the room details in advance, before booking it next time

If you want to stay in Bogota , and just need a hotel....this is your option. It has all you need. Just enjoy the city....

Good neighborhood, though a bit far from restaurants, room had no exterior windows.

The accommodations at Charlie's place hotel are not fancy, but it is comfortable and quaint. Their greatest selling point is the staff, who were consistently friendly and helpful. Most of the staff speak excellent English. The location is near a wonderful neighborhood full of restaurants and upscale shopping, and it was easy to get a cab to other parts of the city. I will certainly stay at Charlie's place again if I travel to Bogota.

This is a great deal in Bogota. I was a little skeptical because the price was a lot cheaper than other hotels in Bogota but I was not disappointed at all. What makes this hotel is the service - it is outstanding. The guys at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful as were the cleaning staff and owners. The rooms weren't exceptionally big but they were comfortable and clean. The location is great in the North Zone of Bogota and is safe. Walking distance from Usaquen park (Sunday flea market) as well as a short cab ride away from Zona Rosa / Zona T (bars/restaurants/nightlife). The free breakfast was tasty, especially the hot chocolate. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

I rented the Junior Suite; the room was clean and comfortable.The hotel is secured and they will pick you up at the airport. The staff was courteous and friendly. Located 20 minutes from the U.S. Embassy and 30 minutes from the airport. Great stay for the price!.... will definitely go back.
