Location, booked for grandson. The lady i rang on 2nd day to extend booking was hospitable.

Having to phone for access on a cold wet night to be told photo ID was required first online. That was not put in booking.com.

The team rang to discuss online check-in and check-out as the reception wasn't going to be open. Everything went smoothly, and a welcome note was left in our room. Our daughters loved the jacuzzi bath.

As warned by previous reviews the rooms and buildings were a bit tired and could do with a re-paint, but I think this is fairly reflected in the pricing of the hotel. We were using it only for a place to sleep before going onto a new activity, so did not negatively impact our stay.
