Septimo Paraiso

The hotel is located in a beautiful valley with stunning natural surroundings. The environment is peaceful and relaxing, and the staff members we interacted with were friendly and welcoming.

However, communication was a challenge as the front desk staff did not speak English. Additionally, there were very few service staff available, which sometimes made it difficult to get assistance when needed.

Lots of beautiful scenery;nice trails and hummingbird viewing.

The variety and quality of food was disappointing. Pizza was great though!

Fairytale like, eclectic, Victorianesque interior. A joy to walk around and discover all the eye for detail. Helpful staff.

It's a bit further from Mindo than the maps said; 6 km instead of km. So not really walkable if you want to dine in Mindo.

the swimming pools were ice cold, and the jacuzzi was heated only one night (but there were few guests during our stay).

The place is a little bit run down. The place offers great birding location but the paths are overgrown and could really use some maintenance. With little work and effort it could be excellent birding place. The owners could also have more feeders, especially for the bigger birds e.g. tanagers.

This property was absolutely amazing! We had the best time! The staff was incredible and the location was stunning. We loved the covered patio, the jacuzzi, the hummingbird bird feeders, the entire property was amazing! Thank you Sebastian and Edith for making our stay so special!
