The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely pool area and garden, drinks on the balcony in the evening with a view of the garden. Good breakfast selection. The apricot compote was exceptional

Roadworks were a little noisy one of the nights but that’s not the hotels fault

we took a room with see view and the view was fine. but it also give directly on the train station and trains are frequent and lousy. I would advice the owners to invest to replace the windows for better noise protection

Immediately adjacent to Lugano train station, so 2 minute walk to hotel. And train station connects to city center either using a very long stairway (about 20 normal-sized flights of stairs) or a free funicular, since hotel stay comes with a free city transit pass. It's as convenient as it gets. Rooms are very nice and the breakfast is excellent. They also have an outdoor pool and landscaped grounds.

The weather was very hot for mid-spring. They need to work on that.

Be careful ! People are nice BUT… 1. Entrance is at the end of train station parking, I would not let my wife to walk alone (we also ear trains from the hôtel) 2. Room : our was so small that you need to jump your luggage’s and decoration smells dust (pictures attached) 3. RoomView : pictures attached 4. Design : smells like very old hotel renovated 20 years ago (3 types of floors in the room / old shiny cold carrelage everywhere (worlds can lie not the pictures) 5. Situation : no view (=0!) of the lac from the outside of the hotel (even at the pool or in the corridor you can enjoy the train view sight from the window…) 6. Swimming pool looks like a camping’s one, sunbed are 50-cm close to each others, same floor type as outside public pool (old concrete…) By the way, when you ask at the reception to change… they show you a printed paper with your reservation… “sorry you booked that room, but if you want we also have hostel rooms…” If you are a 50/60 years old couple it could fit to your needs FYI : - we have paid 257€ for 1 night with 2 breakfast - we already spent 1 week across Switzerland and that was the worst hotel (for similar price off course : around 250€/night) - I am not used nor comfortable to put bad evaluations, you can look at my others… but this time unfortunately it deserves it
