We liked the peace and quiet. The bird life was fantastic and plentiful.

We stayed in a lovely modern two-bedroom apartment which was spacious and well-equipped. Good restaurant in the hotel and there’s a small shop across the road. Staff were friendly and welcoming. You can rent kayaks and canoes on the lake which is just a short walk away down a track beside a small stream.
