Camara Hotel

We couldn’t be happier with our stay, Stavros, Stella and the rest of the staff attended to all our needs quickly and efficiently. Rooms are basic but very comfortable, choices of mattress and pillows, shower area kind of small but that is room design. WiFi very good and roof terrace is a very nice touch. Breakfast choices were excellent and tasty. Location is good only 10 minutes walk to the beach, local bus stop right at the corner and availability of pool use with hotel just across. We highly recommend Camara hotel. Thank you Stavros and Stella for all your help.

We stayed for 5 nights at the Camara Hotel and absolutely loved our stay. We rented a quad bike and got to the hotel within a quick 10 minute drive after getting off the ferry (lots of taxis available if you don’t want to rent a car/quad!). Everyone welcomed us and gave us lots of tips on the best things to do in the area. The room was lovely, we had a private balcony and lots of space - really good value for money. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the beach in a lovely quiet back road, so no noise from traffic which is great! Lots of restaurants and bars and a supermarket just a stroll away. The roof terrace was gorgeous in the evening to watch the sunset with a beer! The breakfast (included in the price for the stay) was so delicious - lots of options and all freshly prepared, from eggs on toast to Greek yoghurt with fruit - yum! We’d recommend renting a quad/car to be able to explore the rest of the island and discover little private beaches along the coast, but should you decide not to, Camara is still the perfect place to stay as it’s location is brilliant with everything you need just a walk away! Spent 6 nights at this perfectly positioned hotel, Stavros greeted us with unfailing smiling face, Poppy’s kitchen produced a consistently wonderful breakfast each morning & Maria kept the place as tidy as possible whilst teaching us Greek, the bus to town & Plaka beach the other way is so close, tickets can be bought from Stavros, I can throughly recommend staying here

6 nights and a great stay. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, chatting with us every day. Stavros, Stella, Maria and Poppy were just beautiful. The hotel is spotless. Breakfast is delicious with new treats each day and we loved the pool across the road and happily bought drinks there. The bus stop is a couple of minutes walk and we caught the bus many times to Hora and Plaka. We also used the beach at Prokopious but enjoyed Plaka because it was less crowded. The cafes, restaurants, supermarket, and beach were all a short walk away. This is a quiet hotel, away from the hustle & bustle with lovely views from our balcony and the roof top terrace. We loved Naxos and Camara-we would definitely stay there again.

We have just spent 6 nights at Camara and we loved it. It was such a welcoming place. Stavros and Stella in reception had plenty of advice of and made any arrangements we required. Maria, the housekeeper, always happy to have a chat and improve my Greek, keeps a spotless hotel. Poppy’s breakfast was delightful with different traditional treats each day-we certainly didn’t find it boring at all. We used the nice pool across the road and happily bought drinks from the bar. The bus stop to Chora or Plaka Beach at the most is 50 metres away-the bus trip provided the chance to marvel at the skill of the bus drivers on the narrow roads. It’s a short walk to the beach, a supermarket, cafes and restaurants. The rooftop terrace was relaxing both morning and night; we didn’t see anyone else up there. Naxos in parts looks like a place goats would happily live in but was a great island to stay on with beautiful spots, great beaches and terrific food. We were so happy we stayed at Camara. Efharisto, Camara!

Highly recommend this hotel. It was the nicest we’ve stayed in on our island hopping trip and ironically the cheapest too. Great value for money. The breakfast was lovely-always something fresh and new each day. Loved the little pastries. Clean, modern room with a balcony. The pool is 10 seconds away in the next hotel and is really good. The beach is a 5-7 minutes walk away. There’s a bus stop outside the hotel but a taxi is only €10 to Náxos town. Incredibly friendly staff-they honestly can’t do enough for you. We’re now in Mykonos and would love to go back to Camara. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This hotel is close to the airport, a short walk or drive to Agios Prokopios beach and maybe a 15 minute drive to Chora, so the location is excellent. It's spotlessly clean and the rooms were cheery and very comfortable. The front desk staff and housekeeping folks were friendly and helpful whenever we needed them. It was our first time in Naxos and if we went back, we'd consider staying here again. The only downside was the breakfast room was always very hot - but the breakfast was good!

We stayed for 10 days and enjoyed every minute we were there. Great value for money. Fantastic roof terrace and very friendly staff. Pool and bar at neighbour hotel can be used. Bus stop to town is very near the place; quiet surroundings.
