Valamar Riviera Hotel & Residence

Nous étions logé dans une annexe très sympa, rénovée récemment, à 2 pas des quais entre la tour de la baie et la tour pentagone. Les petits déjeuners pris à l'hôtel principal étaient copieux et excellents. Les déplacements en mini bus entre le parking et l'hôtel étaient très pratiques et rapides.h

Das Frühstücksbuffet war der Hammer! Tolles sauberes Hotel. Freundliche Mitarbeiter. Tolle Lage und ein gut organisierter shutleservice vom Parkplatz und auch wieder zurück. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder :)

Es gibt nix.

Un petit déjeuner exceptionnel. Un buffet énorme contenant du jambon, du pâté à la truffe, des fromages, des pâtisseries, des crêpes, un assortiment de pains, des œufs, du lard, des graines, des yaourts…. Le personnel tres sympathique. Les chambres très propres…

Le parking est situé à 1,5 km. Une navette fait la liaison mais jusque 22h uniquement

The breakfast was good. And the location is good.

AC didn’t work that well, someone came to get it to turn on. It seemed to turn off in the night and the room was hot and difficult to sleep. Room was super small. The website described it as beachfront. It isn’t beachfront it is water front- the beach is down the street a bit.

Smart 4* hotel, clean well appointed for marina and old town. Staff very professional never intrusive, but there for you. Good quality beds, and shower room even had small fridge and kettle. Tv not much use as advertises Hotel group and local tv only. Hotel has plenty of ‘green’ options, recycling, towel use etc. The buffet breakfast is one of the best! even a charcuterie style deli bar- never seen one with so much choice- whole area kept spotless, would recommend this hotel for adults & couples, if returning to Porec I’d stay again.

Did not start well, our Jet2 coach arrived at the car park check in cabin about 10pm.It was closed (it also was on our return about 5pm so I do not know if it ever opens). No hotel taxi, just a number to ring. Fortunately the coach driver stayed with us, made several phone calls in Croatian and after what seemed ages a taxi arrived. Actual hotel reception was efficient, the superior room was exactly what we wanted with balcony and beautiful sea view. Breakfast was excellent, all staff efficient and very friendly. I do not like air conditioning and prefer to sleep with fresh sea air through the balcony door. Unfortunately there is a loud refuse truck every 6.30 am and late on Friday and Saturday there was still a lot of noise from cafes and restaurants. Not a problem if you keep the door closed at these times! The hotel location is excellent, plenty of restaurants nearby, the Venice ferry leaves virtually directly in front and a walk round the marina will get you to the Noddy train which runs to Zelena Laguna. I am in my late 70s but the casual return walk with a coffee at Plava Laguna and a long lunch nearer Porec gets you back to the hotel in nice time for a cup of tea on the balcony before going out for an Aperol Spitz. Very enjoyable, would definitely stay at this hotel again. Younger people with children would prefer the many larger hotels with pools and facilities.

Lokacija zelo dobra, v centru dogajanja. Prevoz do parkirisca je hiter, kadarkoli zelis. Soba je bila cista, postelja udobna. Okusen zajtrk, zelo ustrezljivo osebje pri zajtrku
