Parfait!

Great location: Cala Caldana is one of the best spots on the island in the south, its beach is perfect, with shade and you can easily reach the most beautiful, white sand beaches in both directions (Mitjana, Trebugar, Macarella, etc), it is just in the middle. Hotel is walking distance (5-10 min) to the beach, coming back the street is rising, but manageable. Good free street parking (you just walk out of the hotel to reach the square, no need to hike the street). Restaurants, supermarket all walking distance but still calm and quiet enough. Fully refurbished new apartmants: we booked 2 for 2 families, the upper floor superior 2 bedroom sea view was really really fantastic (there are only 2 such in the hotel), the superior one bed roomroom seaview was nice, but rather semi-sea view (design, enterior and equipment is the same in both). The staff was very helpful during our stay, daily cleaning very useful, complimentary . The kitchen could have been better equipped (no washing liquids, no spounge, no paper towel, no oven, only stove). Swimming pool very clean and good warm water. View from pool area fantastic. Breakfast and dinner wide selecion, reasonably priced, good price - value.

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Chambres refaites à neuf. Peu de monde cause covid donc calme. Bien situé en hauteur Avec vue magnifique si vous prenez terrasse vue mer cela vaut vraiment le coup. parking Gratuit un peu plus haut. Le seul regret est l accès au wifi... 15€ pour 3 jours pour 1 seul appareil était vraiment exagéré. Et aussi pas de mini kit vaisselle. Tout est en supplément mais en même temps prix vraiment raisonnable donc... staff très gentil et magnifique piscine.

Staff are very kind, rooms are modern and clean, if you chose sea view it's rather spectacular! Yes, it's situated at the top of the hill and judging by other people's comments we expecting it to be horrendous, it really isn't. Not particularly pleasant, but by no means difficult at all! We didn't use the pool as the beach is amazing, but looked nice and clean. The beds are some of the comfiest I've ever slept in! There is also a supermarket pretty much attached to the hotel which is extremely handy, the 2 pizza places opposite are bloody lovely and there's plenty of parking along the road or at the car park at the top of the hill if you've hired a car out. The only problem we had was due to the noise, but that was soley based on the location of our apartment. We were directly above the bar/dining area so every morning at 8am without fail we were awoken to the noise of chairs being dragged across the floor, which annoyed me initially, but got used to it in the end as got us up early which wasn't a bad thing. Also the lift is very noisy if you are situated right next to it like we were... basically the rooms could do with soundproofing a little better as the bedroom window might aswell be open all the time it's that bad. However if I had a room not situated where it was this place would be faultless and despite this am planning to come back already as the positives superiorly outweigh the negatives!

food was not very good or consistant..if you are all incl...the coffee is a cheaper version of what is at the bar.....pool is nice but more attention to cleaning loungers daily and litter …...reception staff very good ..bar staff not particulary friendly.....if there are issue they do try to sort them out...the room and cleaning staff were good

I was only there for a very short overnight stay due to an extremely delayed late flight, which is probably not the standard stay they are used to, however I'm wondering if the last guest didn't attempt to remake a bed and rehang towels that were thought to be clean/unused and just left as is. Sheets and towels were definitely dirty and used. Glassware left in the kitchen area was also dirty, and there was sand on the floor near the balcony. I would say the cleanliness issues were unusual, since the rest of the property seemed to be in good condition. It definitely seemed family friendly. Noise from the street and a vent from something that sounded like it was malfunctioning were pretty loud, but depending on your view, this might not be an issue, since I didn't hear any other guests. Overall, not a bad option for the intended guest that would normally stay there.

Overall very satisfied with our stay here, having stayed here previously we were impressed by the refurbished apartment we had for the week. We stayed self catering and all the items required ie kettle, cutlery etc were of good quality and fit for purpose. The service from reception, housekeeping, bar was very good and friendly. All areas of the complex were very well maintained and clean. The hotel is about 5 mins away from the centre of the resort up a fairly steep hill and has a large free car park near for your hire car. For clean , comfortable and value for money accommodation we would highly recommend.

Beautiful position over looking bay. Restaurants and supermarkets at hand .

We stayed in the renovated area. Room is ok. Hotel looks pretty cheap and run down with unfriendly and incompetent service. Not safe.

Cheapest studio apartment in the block - overlooking the internal garden (with its resident tortoises!). Spotless, spacious, newly refurbished with plenty of hot water (not always the case at the Floramar as we discovered on a previous visit). The only downside was the noise - you're clearly under the dining room so you get a good couple of hours of noisy chair-scraping until the dinner service stops, and then the music from the bar drifts in until 11.30pm. And then the chair scraping starts again at 7.15am. Joy. It's okay if you're only staying for a night or two but I'd pay a bit more or ask to be moved if you were staying any longer.
