Everything about this place was great. Staff, location, food etc were all above expectations. The Sunday lunch was delicious.

Rooms very comfortable, great breakfast best had in a long time. Garden area lovely when the sun is shining

Main restaurant limited menu when you have a picky eater. Luckily had an outside eating area with a pizza menu

The place itself is really very nice, great country pub dining feeling to it. Staff very helpful, service very good. The room was very warm and comfortable.

The main thing you really can't avoid is it's just so pricey. Not so much at the bar itself but £40 for a standard sized steak! I had a very nice pie but £26... The vegetarian options for my other half were limited too. As I say, lovely but very pricey.
