African Silhouette Guesthouse

The property is made up of different adjoining buildings, it’s very quirky and rustic. My favourite thing was the outdoor shower in my rooms courtyard. It has a small pool surrounded by a large pond and trees. Other facilities are bbq area covered parking areas and electric gate. The hosts are what makes this place tick, they treat you like an extension of their family. They ask you what you would like for breakfast, it’s polite to say - what you don’t eat and the be treated to something new and interesting every morning. It’s a personal service here NO corporate company will match their love and support.

It’s very difficult to criticise people who are so kind and loving, but I’d love a firm pillow lol

We had an overnight layover at Tambo airport and stayed here for the sleep. Very easily arranged transfers for us and had a breakfast before our early flight.

The cleanliness and unique design of the rooms (outdoor shower, and unique bathtub). The other facilities were also great and the host Susan is very helpful. We unfortunately left a pair of shoes but were able to get it back with her help.

The hospitality, the art, the room was clean and big. Susan is the best, she literally goes out of her way to make sure we got the best.

No bar fridge in the room

The rooms are very comfortable, the host is top-notch and the outdoor shower was a new experience 👌

To be very honest, there was absolutely nothing I liked, except seeing my daughter under supervision. This was really a very bad experience in all regards.

There should be urgent attention to maintenance, cleanliness, mattresses, linen, and pillows, and I think they should not even be open. The owner was so disappointed that I was a Genius level 3. She had to give a discount, and she fought like a tigress to charge more for a 4-year-old little girl visiting from 9 to 17:00. This place will never see me again.

The room is so unique there is also a shower outside with a small garden where one can sit beautiful in the room there is a very luxurary bath😍 you can even eat breakfast supper and dinner
