The room was lovely - large with a comfortable bed. I was thrilled to see I had a spa bath in the large bathroom and the toiletries supplied were exceptional. Of all the six hotels I stayed in during my travels in the South Island, The Lorenzo was the most comfortable with the best supplies. The host even gave me a discount voucher to an attraction she heard I was going to.

Having to go up/down stairs to my room, as I have mobility issues. It was a struggle with my suitcase.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were lovely, bubbly and incredibly friendly, which made us feel very welcome. The room had thoughtful little extras like a coffee machine that really made it feel special. Great value for money and a fantastic location. We would definitely stay here again!

Possibly the cleanest motel room I have ever stayed in; everything was immaculate. A huge, comfortable bed with extra pillows. Lovely little outside patio facing the afternoon sun. Nice toiletries and plentiful, soft, snowy-white towels. Lots of off-street parking

The location on Riccarton Road is very handy for everything, but it's impossible to control the traffic noise that comes with it - luckily the rooms are set well back off the road.
