Everything truly was excellent. Large comfortable room with charm and character. Everything worked. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very helpful.

The location is perfect if you are driving to Plovdiv. It is on the edge of old town. The decor is charming as it’s been restored to look like a traditional Bulgarian home. The owner was great at welcoming us and giving us a quick overview of Plovdiv. Message the owner ahead of time if you need a parking spot. He will help you find one nearby. It cost an extra 15 Bulgarian lev for one day. There’s a butcher shop across the street and it was a great deal to get sausage and bread for a quick lunch.

It’s a one night stay for us. We did not find anything that was an issue.

Nice small hotel in old town of Plovdiv. Room was spacious enough, comfortable, with good air conditioning (in August, it is important), quiet location. Owner was a very helpful man, with perfect English, providing detailed information on Plovdiv, from interesting points to practical things. Breakfast was excellent, with local delicious dishes. The hotel is featured by a classical wood decor (with all the modern facilities), almost a "boutique" hotel - we liked it very much. Important: if someone browse hotels in downtown-old town Plovdiv on the Booking's map, it is not obvious, that there is a steep valley between the old town and the modern (well, modern ? From the 19th-early 20th century) downtown, that cannot be passed on foot. This hotel is just on the way between the 17th-18th century old town and the present time downtown. So, it was an excellent location for us, interested in both historical Plovdiv and present day downtown - all the important places were in walking distance (in fact, we parked our car in front of the hotel, but we did not use it for the three days we spent in Plovdiv)
