Excellent breakfast. Best ever. Communication prior to visit from Abbi was first class. Sorted out surprise birthday cake for my wife's birthday. Location was perfect. 10 minute stroll from York Minster.

Parking is expensive but it is a first class valet service.

Stayed in one of the deluxe rooms for the Jazz night. Room and location were fantastic.

Not enough bar staff in the 1906 bar meant that nobody came back to check for another drink (had to go to the bar twice to ask for service). Main moan was that the Jazz night is not a jazz night and more of a very talented pianist (not the best vocalist) playing some jazz tunes.

"Lovely short break"

This was our third time staying at The Grand! Perfect location, lovely staff, excellent rooms and facilities. Fabulous, delicious breakfast 😋

The people in the room next door to us were particularly loud for most of the night, they must have been jet lagged and still living in a different time zone. Absolutely not the hotels fault.

Beautiful building and our room was very nice. Also the resturaunt where we had breakfast was stunning, with excellent food.

That we only stayed for 1 night.
