Hotel Tahiti Nui

I was REALLY hesitant to book this hotel, because of the poor rating it has and all the bad reviews I saw, especially about the noise issues. The only reason I went there, was because most of our family I was traveling with chose it. And, boy, was I wrong?! Maybe the place does not per say deserve 5 stars I am giving it , but 4-4.5 it certainly should get. I am raising my review, just because it deserves a higher overall rating. It is a VERY nice, mostly renovated hotel in an great location, steps from ferry, market, restaurants and shopping. AND free parking! Our group had, and liked, both "Executive" and regular rooms. Executive suites come in open and divided floor plans, but both very spacious, nice, with 2.5 baths and 2 separate bedrooms on 2nd floor. The kitchens need a microwave and some more supplies... Overall, except for uncalled for "extra person" charges, the Executive rooms are great! The Patios with sitting space and amazing views are definitely an added bonus too. And as for noise--NONE of us knew what those reviewers were talking about!! Yes, there are sirens, especially late in the day and night, but they are not loud, and stop when the vehicles are near hotel, probably because there are no traffic lights near it. We also ate at the restaurant, which was pricey, but good food. My only other definite complaint would be a severely worn out furniture in the lobby, that needs immediate replacement. I would certainly recommend this place!

The room was clean and bigger than I expected. The staff was do helpful. I only stayed 2 nights but I enjoyed it. Good location too

Établissement sombre et vieillot. Les prix des repas et petits déjeuners trop élevés par rapport à ce qui est proposé. On ne nous avait pas dit de réserver pour le dîner et quand nous sommes arrivés on nous a éjecté car il y avait en fait un repas du Lion's Club. Après réclamation nous avons pu dîner au milieu de la réception, du bruit, et de la musique. Très déçus ! Dans le hall les fauteuils sont tous lacérés et vieillots. Dommage car l'hôtel est bien situé mais il est vieux et pas entretenu. Pour avoir parlé avec d'autres personnes, il y a mieux et pas plus cher.

ein sehr schoenes und grosses apartment und der balkon war riesig mit einem sehr schoenem blick. die lage ist perfekt um papeete zu erkunden.

leider durften wir nicht eine minute vor check in ins zimmer und haben 1 1/2 std in der lobby gesessen und gewartet weil es draussen so sehr geregnet hatte, ein dicker minus punkt!!! dann war die kueche im apartment mit absolut nichts ausgestattet es gab keine moeglichkeit zu kochen deshalb haben wir uns im supermarkt eine TK pizza gekauft aber leider mussten wir feststellen das der backofen nicht funktionierte das restaurant hat uns dann die pizza in ihren ofen geschoben aber als die pizza im zimmer ankam war sie kalt ein absolutes NO GO bei diesem preis !!! wir werden dieses hotel nicht noch einmal buchen
