We arrived at the venue, and on checking in were offered a free upgrade to a king size room which we accepted without hesitation. Parking was plentiful and it has easy access. The owner of the property was on his own during our stay as the rest of the family were on a short vacation. He was very welcoming and somehow remembered everyone's name whenever he came across us, either at breakfast, feeding the free range chickens or just going about his normal routine. Nothing phased him and I commend him for providing a first class service.

Quiet and charming traditional inn set in beautiful rural surroundings. The host was warm and friendly. The cold breakfast was outstanding with eggs from chickens that ran around the gardens. The decor has definite grandma vibes and it felt a bit cluttered in the room. But everything was clean, shower water was hot and the bed very comfortable.

An electric kettle in the room would have been useful as in a tea drinker. Some of the items in the room needed dusting and there was too much old furniture for the size of the room.

La chambre suite au 2eme étage très classy style victorienne. Très propre et très calme . Déjeuner très varié fruits frais, Muffins yogourt .
