Adonis Grandcamp - Les Isles de Sola

Excellent value for money. I understand, the normal rates are double of what I paid, but I probably had luck then. Clean, modern, functional. Good location to use as a base, to visit Omaha and Utah beaches, and all connected things, which is what we did. Grandcamp Maisy itself is also a nice little town have a stroll in, especially along the beach. There’s a good supermarket nearby too. Also, there is free parking outside,closer to the port, but with very few spots, so, in high season, you might need to pay for the parking inside. I managed to find a spot each time outside. The property has a swimming pool, which I don’t think I noticed, when booking, so that was a nice addition. The room would probably be good for a longer stay too. We only stayed two nights.

Maybe, the attic nature of the room, but it is just a little note, still amazing value for money. You might want to enquire in advance on how to get through the entrance gates (there is a code), as they might forget telling you and they might not reply to the indicated phone number either (which is what happened to me). I had to enter, when someone else was entering.
