Clean, good service, quiet, walking distance to food places, next to a convenience store and the bus stop as well. We enjoyed our stay.

Close to the main area in banff. Gave us passes for local transit. Free coffee from Canoe and access to their pool and hot tub. Saw wildife from our property

I prefer human contact when I check-in to a hotel/motel as well as an actual key (as opposed to having to download an app, create an account, access key from phone, phone IS key, so phone has to be charged etc). Motel room is nicely designed; well-equipped; and bed is comfy. Suggestion: Floors should be wet-mopped, not just vaccumed. Courtyard is lovely.

Highly recommend Dorothy Motel. The room was great, spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. All the amenities were included (kettle, fridge, tv, hair dryer, safe, there was also a microwave). Tea/coffee/milk provided. Room was cleaned everyday. There was a nice courtyard where you could sit as well as use the Hotel Canoe’s facilities (pool/hot tub etc). You can check-in and out at Hotel Canoe (and I was able to leave my bags there too on checkout). Hotel Canoe have an on-site restaurant (Sudden Sally), good for breakfast. It is a little outside the downtown area (20 min walk) but the hotel provided a 3 day bus pass and so it really wasn’t an issue. The bus stopped very close to the motel.
