Dionysos Sea Side Resort

We really enjoyed our stay here- toral of 7 days. Loved the private pool we had, it is maintained very well! Beach was a very close walk, with good lawn chairs and beds. Clean towels provided daily. Breakfast is delicious and fresh food daily. Pool also great size and comfortable chairs/shade around. The staff was incredible! This was definately a highlight. So warm, welcoming and helpful. With a baby we needed more than the average guest and they got us everything we needed. Cons-there was no bathtubs for our 1 year old baby. The website says there is a gym but the gym was outside and very hot, equipment was dusty and dirty and it lacked equipment. Treadmill was not usable, as it was too small and flimsy. Running along the beach was really nice though and smooth!

Incredibly relaxing environment at this property. We loved the neutral, modern beach aesthetic of the resort and our Deluxe Suite. Easy walk to Mylopotos Beach and a very attentive staff in person and via room phone. Taxi service from the resort to anywhere on the island was quick and easy. Costa's ATV rental located next door is an additional bonus.

The location was absolutely perfect in terms of proximity to beach and the local bus into the village. The staff offered amazing recommendations for restaurants and Pathos view point. The hotel restaurant Almyra served delicious food and the staff in general were wonderful! Thank you for an amazing stay!

This hotel is incredible. The service provided by the staff is some of the best that I have ever experienced. The room that we stayed in was everything we needed, with a nice little balcony & all that we required for our 3 night stay. The pool, restaurant & sun loungers at the beach really make this place a true delight. The pool was very quiet and we loved relaxing there after going to the beach. The restaurant is amazing, the included breakfast is top quality with a wide range of food available. We also had lunch & dinner at the restaurant which was perfect. This place is topped off with the included sun loungers at the beach. The loungers are perfect & the beach is incredible. We would definitely return here, some of the most relaxing days & a perfect stay as part of our honeymoon trip around the Greek islands. Thank you so much.

First time traveling to Ios, hotel is not by the sea-side. You need to walk, its not that far, but I had thought it was on the water, across the street. We were traveling with 2 teenagers and the bathroom door is glass, so there is ZERO privacy for anyone. I would recommend they fix this. Very uncomfortable for my teen daughter. I also wanted to add that we had selected the "pay at the property" option and I was charged in advanced for the whole stay before even arriving. I did try to go thru the chat on hotels.com and got nowhere. they wanted a copy of the credit card bill which i was having trouble cutting and pasting to them. Know this in advance if traveling here!

The description is misleading. It's certainly not a "sea side" resort. It's down a rocky dirt road and beyond the actual coastal hotels. We had some scheduling issues, and despite plenty of availability, they were not willing to accommodate our issues. Go stay at the Hide Out Suites or some other property with an actual view of the water.

Cannot fault the resort. They were attentive and helpful. The resort itself had virtually everything that was required and expected

We made the perfect choice in choosing this location. Stag was amazingly welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Wish we would have stayed more than one night though. The best beach in all the Greek Islands!
