Dionysos Sea Side Resort

Overall we were very impressed with Dionysos hotel. You won't find a hotel at such a reasonable rate that looks this good and provides such fantastic service on other islands such as Mykonos or Santorini. As we are on a budget trip, this is by far the best place we've stayed in and had a real feel of luxury about it - a beautiful poolside area, manicured gardens, spacious rooms, friendly attentive staff and an amazing breakfast each morning! It is situated on Mylopotas beach which is a beautiful and lively place to be. If you are a young traveller you can go next door to the farout camping village for their nightly pool parties - a great way to make friends! The only downside for us were the constant wifi troubles which left us without internet access for a day and even when fixed it didn't last long. Perhaps this is only a temporary issue they were having? Also be mindful that there is a 5 euro charge per person each way for pick up and drop off to the port.

This was a great hotel - especially by Greek standards. The rooms were large and the bath/shower was excellent. It was very clean and seemed to be fairly new. The staff at reception were very accommodating and spoke English well. Location was great as well with bars and restaurants all close by. Also bus stop was close by and ran frequently. Only strange thing was one afternoon we tried to order a coffee from the pool bar and the girl said it was closed. Next minute though she served other people.

Brilliant, relaxing hotel. I am in a wheelchair and cannot walk - the complex is easy enough to get around. The room I booked turned out to not have an accessible bathroom or bath I could hop into. Maria, the hotel manager was prepared to do or buy anything to resolve the problem I ended up with a new room that had a waterproof shower room, I asked for a chair they didn't mind getting wet and transferred onto it to have a shower. Though I am mega fit, I expect someone less able might not cope with jumping on and off an unstable chair! All this hotel needs is to pull out the existing shower and fit a shower seat with handles to the wall and they would have the first accessible hotel on the whole island. Food for the thought Maria!

Well located. Very good service. Totally recommend

We had 3 nights here in June. Location is great, it's just off the beach and there are bus stops just a few minutes walk plus a few restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The pool area is great, although the pool is quite deep. One thing I was very surprised about was how Amazing the food was. We had lunch and dinner here one day and both meals were amazing and very standard on price. I recommend the seafood linguine, one of the best pasta's I've ever had. Breakfast was ok but pretty standard for Greece. The gym is good, limited machines but what they do have is newish and works well. The only slight negative is the rooms. Don't get me wrong, they were fine but they were very basic. Nice balconies though and very decent size. They could do with a bit of a spruce up but they're not terrible and they were very clean. Overall a great hotel with a great pool at a nice price. I'd recommend this for sure
