InterContinental Nanjing by IHG

The room was absolutely clean and warm with absolutely comfortable beds to sleep in. Food is easily available around the hotel with ease of transportation choice, be it Didi or the metro. We were informed that we were upgraded upon check-in.

It would have been an excellent stay if the housekeeping team had cleared my eaten fruits after first night. Unsure if there was any protocol, my fruits were clearly cut and consumed but not cleared away after the room is made up each day (stayed three nights). The reception and concierge had been helpful with our queries on services.

Well maintained luxury hotel. Downtown Nanjing with easy access to tourist attractions. Second stay there. Early 2000 style. Unique view of Nanjing from above 47th floor. This time , my room was on the 70th. Comfortable room bt a minor inconvenience: sometimes the bathroom has a slight smell of plumbing. But water pressure for shower was formidable. TV is too small ompared with the sizeble room of 46 m2. Breakfast was still very good.

Had some payment issue at check in. Problem cleared in about 10 minutes. Reception gave me a free breakfast because of this problem. The hotel is the tallest building in Nanjing. Subway line 1 and 4 is right outside of the hotel. Big room size! Friendly staffs.

The staff were friendly.

Unfortunately this hotel was very uncomfortable, the bathroom was dirty and the carpets had stains all over it. This made my stay very unpleasant. The quality has dropped significantly since I visited in 2018. I was sad as I had high hopes.

Amazing stay Got an upgrade to the room with the bathtub in the middle of the room, thought it was weird for a family but turns out to be my kid’s favourite thing to do Breakfast has lots of variety but can get crowded from 9-10am Service is the most wonderful, the staffs were all helpful and keen to answer my questions and provide me with more information Location is good too, the mall in the building have essential shops like watsons and coffee places, opposite the hotel have lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets Easy to get around with the train station 1 min walk away

Central location to everything , great view of the city and lake The hotel is really aged. The bath room needs a lot of maintenance; the carpet doesn’t look clean; Hope they can do a major renovation soon! Breakfast quality is average. Many selections but could have been better prepared.
