This was the fourth time I had stayed at the Coopmanhuijs. The staff are all incredibly kind and helpful. My room was well laid out and clean and tidy. The only slight criticism I had was that it overlooked a parasol below and therefore the view was obscured. There was always an excellent selection at breakfast and it was well presented. Dinner at Helena's was as excellent as ever. A varied menu, again well presented and with great service. Although I was a solo traveller I always felt safe as the hotel is in a central location and there was always someone outside the hotel making sure that I was never alone whilst waiting for a lift. Once again - Highly recommended

That was our first hotel in our last trip to SA. It is not bad at all, well located, and it might have some charm. I just found a couple of members from front staff a bit careless, more interested in the tip than an honest support.

This is a proper 5* establishment - from the concierge to the head waiter, room staff, waiters and barman, and receptionists. All are polite, helpful, pleasant and well mannered. Nothing is too much trouble! We had a fabulous dinner, excellent breakfast - and my wife's Spa treatment was top drawer. Attention to detail abounds. Thank-you.
