Courtyard by Marriott St. Petersburg Center

As far as Marriott’s go, this has to be the friendliest that we have had the pleasure of staying at. We had a standard room with twin queen beds. Room was note huge but certainly adequate and a good sized bathroom with bath and shower. Staff were a compliment to the hotel. Efficient, polite and very welcoming throughout our stay of 5 nights. Food was very good, both breakfast and evening meals. Both evening meals that we had at the hotel were excellent. Staff in the bar and restaurant also first class. The hotel is a bit outside of the centre, however from 9 am until 10pm there is a complimentary shuttle service into the city which stops and picks up at some well known landmarks. The driver was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and he was a credit to the team. If you want a good walk, you can do 20 minutes to the metro (Sadoya) or about 45 into Nevsky Prospekt. Excellent stay at the Marriott, would stay there again for sure.

It’s a well run hotel. Staff are very polite and welcoming.

Modern and friendly, English speaking staff, breakfast could have more options but satisfactory, 20mins by cab to historical sites, not many food options around - need to go to city centre area

THE SHUTTLE TO LOCAL AREA IS GOOD FACILITY OF THE HOTEL. GOOD SIGHT SEEING AREAS WITHIN 3 TO 5 KILOMETERS OF THE HOTEL. PEACEFUL STAY AND GOOD SILENCE AWAY FROM CITY TRAFFIC.

Waiting for the shuttle from the city at one of the locations, bus never showed - had to take taxi back.

Overall a nice hotel. Front reception service were a little rude. The woman who was on the front desk on the early morning of the 1st Jan was very rude. Refused to give us some bottles of water (which were complementary) and told us we have to go buy our own. Was very put off by her attitude.

This hotel is really nice, I always use this hotel while I was staying in SPB. All staffs are always kind and can help us. I'll use this hotel next time also!

Quite location and nice staff

Nice hotel in good condition with friendly staff even with own pub where they serve freshly made own beer. Unfortunately it takes around 40 min by feet to reach Nevsky.

No bell boy service, so we had to haul up all our bags ourselves and we had several old people and children in the family. The AC didn't work. Plus Hotels.com did not provide a "with breakfast" option and we had to pay a steep per head charge everyday for breakfast.
