The Lodge at Chichen Itza

Only thing missing was internet in the room, otherwise it was perfect!

This is, in my opinion, the only place to stay if you are visiting Chichen Itza. The hotel is right next to the site and as a hotel guest, we were able to take advantage of the sunrise guided tour. It was worth the $75 USD per person as there were very few people at that time and just my family and one more couple in our group with the guide. It is magical to be there so early. As for the hotel, you can also buy tickets to the light show from the hotel vs. waiting in line. As for service, that was definitely lacking. The grounds are lovely and we were fortunate to have a bungalow right outside one of the pools.

Beautiful grounds right next to the ruins allows you to visit the ruins early while it is cooler and before the crowds arrive. Sheets on the be were scratchy, but the other couple in our party wasn’t bothered by it.

Great property and location. extremely helpful staff. Would take a look at the condition of some areas, a little outdated. But get compensated by the cleanliness of the property and the professionalism of the staff.

Perfect place if you want to go tonchichen itza and avoid the crowds. The place is really nice nd the staff very friendly. Really worth it

The property is well maintained and beautiful. It is the perfect combination of jungle and escape.

One day it was very cold and heater did not work. Otherwise, everything was fantastic!

Beautiful and gorgeous place. The staff are welcoming and very accommodating. Our room was the cutest, clean and very comfortable. The cave pool was close to our room and are well maintained, clean and relaxing. The restaurants were elegant and food was great. The nature views all around were absolutely stunning and beautiful. Waking up in the morning to the beautiful sounds of the birds chirping and whistling were an unforgettable experience!!!

The food is good. A lot of trees, green, quite and relaxing. No plug in the room for the coffee pot.
