We booked through booking.com which allowed us to book for 1 night which the staff said was incorrect (usually 2 night minimum). The manner in which this was relayed over the phone to us was not very pleasant. Of course not everyone can afford 2 nights. They did honour our booking.com booking but got it changed on booking.com the very same day. We weren’t told about the access to the private beach on arrival. Some of the stated complimentary items were not actually there (kohu road ice cream and sorbet). This was not a major for us, but given the high standards and price was a little disappointing. We asked for gluten free option for our dad and there were a few options but given the main breakfast was mainly bacon and eggs, it would have been nice if there was gluten free bread. At time of check out, we weren’t asked how our stay was so we weren’t given an opportunity to directly feedback. We somehow did not feel like our stay was valued, perhaps because we only stayed one night due to the glitch? We’ve stayed in other luxury places, where the hospitality was impeccable.

Perfect romantic escape for our 1st wedding anniversary. Stunning and private location and in room chef was a fantastic way to cap the experience.
