Hotel starting to date. Hard bed. Carpets in hallways need replacing

The hotel is not a classic 5 star hotel as it lacks most of the services you would have expected, such as a pool, spa, etc. However, when you come to this neighborhood, you usually come to see Meteora. The hotel is perfect for that. The rooms are a bit dark and heavy to my taste, as they consist of dark furniture.

This hotel is a 70's throwback, but the rooms are gorgeous - get the sea view whatever you do and stay for more than one night. The staff are lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. I slept so well. The Breakfast was delicious and has every kind of thing you could want and the coffee is good! Warning that bar bills and coffee ad hoc are not cheap, but you get a private beach and a sunlounger - so nothing to complain about! The Tavernas are just outside the door and Volos town in around 15 minutes - People in Volos are really friendly anyway, but this hotel has an added touch of luxury to it - as the balcony views over the bay are spectacular. Thank you!

From all other options that we had in the area, we found it as the most decent hotel.

it was ok . pool opens at 11;30 ,so no swimming early morning .staff was nice.

The hotel is at the end of the seaside park. Rooms are comfortable, but not large. Hallway floor is somewhat old linoleum. Rooms are modern, but not really luxurious. I would give the hotel a solid 4- stars. Great view from rooftop bar and from the breakfast room. Did not have time to check out the spa. Overall I recommend it - just do not expect 4.5 or 5 stars.

The hotel was very clean and service was excellent poolside, at breakfast and at the reception desk. The room was comfortable and air conditioning was good. Hot water was plentiful and water pressure good but the toiletries were limited (one little bottle of shampoo for two) and only fair in quality. Breakfast was great and the wi-fi signal was strong. Location is why we chose the hotel and you can't get any better. Close enough to walk to the waterfront and far enough to be quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Spa and gym could be open earlier but otherwise the hotel was fantastic.

I've stayed at the Xenia twice now whilst visiting Volos on business trips. Its a little out of the way but offers some of the best views from the sea side of the hotel. Staff are all very friendly, most speak excellent English which made things easy for me. Food is very good as well.
