ASURE Colonial Lodge Motel

I would have liked a dishwasher as I was cooking most of the time, but not a big deal.

I highly recommended this place as the facilities are great and the manager is also welcoming and friendly. However, avoid the front end room as it lacks privacy. The carpark for the guest in the neighbouring room is right outside the kitchen and bathroom window and they can see right this whole room. This room was also not sound proof so it was not ideal when the neighbouring guest had their booty call late into the evening. This room is close to the road so its very noisy with passing traffic and people walking their dogs. We used the motel towels as curtains as there wasn’t adequate privacy (could still see into the bathroom at night from outside). Avoid this room if staying here however the other rooms are more than accomodating and private. All our other stays have been excellent.

It needs sound proof walls and blinds alone were not adequate for privacy in bathroom & kitchen. Needs curtains for adequate privacy.

Location is near the Taradale clock and rooms on one side of the building could hear the noise all night long
