Grand Hotel de la Reine Place Stanislas

Location, historic building, helpful staff, and immediate proximity of tourist attractions make this property a wonderful destination.

Fabulous location Old world feel but our room was renovated Would stay again

First floor room and no elevator. Poorly designed bathroom, showering got the bathroom floor all wet and slippery.

Getting to the hotel was a mess due to construction. Parking is down the street so you have to walk with your luggage. The people at the reception were very helpful. Our friends did not have air conditioning all night in their room.

The hotel is very old and needs renovation. It is far too expensive

Situated on the wonderful place Stanislas the hotel has a wonderful setting. Clean rooms and bathrooms and good breakfasts but hotel is rather tired and fails to offer room service so let’s itself down. However it is worth these minor disappointments for the glorious location.

Excellent location and very welcoming staff. We came largely to see the 'ecole de Nancy' art nouveau buildings and museums. We were utterly charmed by the Place Stanislaw, its relaxed cafe atmosphere (and temporary Japanese garden). The medieval and renaissance quarters were a bonus, as was the delightfully relaxed city atmosphere and the well-tended public spaces.

Vacation stay. For all that is “down in the heels” in this once beautiful hotel the setting makes up for it. It is in the center of one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, Place Stanislas. The prices were fair and The hotel greeting person was super nice.

Really comfortable stay in this lovely hotel. We had a massive room & bed. Came with a lovely breakfast. I could not recommend this hotel more. 1 fault is the air conditioning did not run properly so on the chilly side.
