"Beautiful grounds"

The grounds were spectacular. We were thinking we were in Gallway, but no where close. That was our mistake. The restaurant was very good. Breakfast was hearty and the service was great everywhere. Fly fishing guides are available and the river was nice!!! Great trails on the property.

"Period charm"

This is not a 'castle' but a country house with great period charm, friendly and helpful staff and the most beautiful surroundings. This is an ideal hotel for a long weekend, and having spent the previous night in a Radisson the contrast was stark; and not having to wait endlessly for a lift a blessing!

"very nice except one thing..............."

this is a great hotel i do wish they did not allow shooting and killing of migrating birds on the property - that casts a big pall on what is otherwise a lovely place
