"A Litte Gem in Ireland!"

10.0

We stayed at this hotel for a week and loved every minute of it. The location is amazing - overlooking the small harbor and sea, and to the right a lighthouse on a small island - postcard beautiful. The staff were friendly and always professional - I loved that housekeeping never once knocked on our door to hurry us up in the morning. We never ate dinner in the dining room, but had the breakfast- am amazing selection for the start of the day.I cant wait to go back!

"Nice hotel on the ocean"

10.0

The Bayview Hotel is like a big old-fashioned house sitting right on the ocean. You could listen to the seagulls and the water lapping against the shore. We were able to walk to a great restaurant called Pier 26 in the town.

"A visit to the Grand Green Island. Loved the time."

8.0

The drive to the hotel from Dublin was eventful due to the conditions of the roads. The weather was great and the road surfaces were fine. The roads were barely wide enough for two cars to pass (but they did), there were no shoulders and sharing the road with tractors and tour buses was very intimidating. Then we were driving on the opposite side of the road from our normal practice. It nearly cost us our marriage! The hotel needs some rain water repairs or, at least, clean up the evidence of the leaks. Maybe they no longer leak. The staff were amazing! Great attitudes. Great service in all ways. We wanted to take them back to the US with us so they could teach the service industry a thing or two about Customer Service. Ireland is a grand land. The Bayview contributed a lot to that impression.

"Lovely location."

8.0

Nice hotel in great location. Food only served in bar so had to eat from low bar tables. Breakfast limited. Charged extra for continental and full. Very few pastries available and little choice. They were not stocked up in the 40 minutes we were there. Tried to charge us for drinks we did not have so quite embarrassing. Overpriced.

"Lovely"

8.0

The hotel was lovely and we enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly. The only problem was that the area was on a boil water notice. As I am Irish I understood what this entailed but a foreigner may not have. The only mention of the boil water notice was a small sign in the bathroom written only in English. It would have been better if they'd mentioned the situation at check in. Other than that, perfect location with beautiful views. Cosy bar and delicious breakfasts.

"Delightful seaside hotel over cliff & harbor"

10.0

The Bayview was delightful, old-fashioned charm, but updated. Great food. Incredible views. Friendly, helpful staff that went out of its way to make our stay memorable. Short walk to very quite town, small harbor, and wonderful cliff walk.
