Holly Lodge

Compact, and cosy. Very well appointed, and set in beautifully maintained gardens. Quiet, helpful host made us welcome.

It's a bit of a juggle trying to manage appliances (kettle, toaster, microwave, electric frypan) with one power point and a very small bench, but we managed a tasty breakfast.

Honeymoon suite has its own entrance, and free use of the front balcony and yard

Fabulous setting in the Dandenong ranges.

Really enjoyed our stay at Holly Lodge. Beautiful location in the mountains, cozy and well set up. Loved the heated spa on the balcony and appreciated the electric blankets. Dog-friendly, with nice breakfast supplies provided. Steve was a great host, very accommodating — would happily stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Holly Lodge. I had the Garden Suite which had multiple windows with plants outside each one, this really created a feeling of being on a break from life in the City! Steve the owner/manager was extremely friendly and helpful even giving me a lift to my friend's wedding very close by since I didn't have a car and the roads do not have footpaths! The room had everything I needed. Most importantly the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was also very powerful. Everything was very clean. It was great to have a kitchen area with fridge, microwave, kitchenware and cutlery. Great heater as well since the evenings had started to get cold. Block out blinds made the room very dark which was great for a good night's sleep!

Only negative was no streaming services on the TV only Foxtel. I ended up just watching TV on my phone.
